Duplicated Adverts

Adverts must conform to a simple 'house' style.   The aim is to get your message across effectively, but without taking unnecessary space or 'shouting', and at the same time to let the editor make last-minute changes easily.   He will do his best to present your advert attractively.

Don't send the whole ad as a jpg or pdf file; use Word for text and jpg for pictures.

On the pre-printed pages we can manage almost anything - and in the Open Gardens brochure, most things.   However, this isn't true of duplicated adverts in the Parish Magazine.   Gray-scale pictures are dodgy, and photos print badly. Print size below 9 point is generally unsatisfactory, although it does depend on the type-face.
