We know that many in and beyond our community would like to support St Wystan's Church building, both as a precious part of Repton’s history, a prominent landmark, and a community asset.

Friends of Repton Parish Church is a registered charity - charity number: 1162837. The trustees, currently chaired by the vicar, bring together members of the congregation, representatives of the local community, and others interested in the history and archaeology of the building.
Professor Mark Horton, who has been involved with archaeological research at Repton for over 40 years and is well known through his work on television, has kindly agreed to be President. Professor Martin Biddle, who led 'the dig' at Repton from 1974 to 1988, and remains closely involved, is a patron alongside Mark Semmence, Head of Repton School, and previous Bishops of Repton are honorary patrons.
Friends will be involved with the maintenance of the building and churchyard, and with fundraising for specific projects. Their first project - new energy efficient floodlighting to illuminate the spire and tower - has been completed.
