Messy Church
Wednesday Communion
Pattern of Worship at our Benefice Churches
The main entrance is ramped, providing good wheelchair access to the body of the church, and pews are cut away in the centre of the nave to allow wheelchair users to participate fully in services. However, access to the chancel is harder. When communion is taken at the east altar, let the sidesman know if you would like communion brought to you in your seat; you are unlikely to be the only one!
The church is equipped with a hearing aid loop system.
From 4 to 5.30 pm on the fourth Sunday of the month, lots of children - as well as parents and adults - enjoy an afternoon of creativity and games, learning together about Jesus, and eating lots of sandwiches and cake.
Every Wednesday there is a short communion service at 10 am.
4.00 pm Evening Prayer on the second Sunday
11.00 am Holy Communion on the First and Third Sundays
9.30 am Sung Communion on the first, second and fourth Sundays
9.30 am Communion in a less formal style on the third Sundays
4.00 pm Messy Church on the fourth Sunday
